Thomas Diamond
Right-handed pitcher moving up the ranks
Good luck to Thomas Diamond, currently a double-A pitcher moving his way up through the Texas Rangers baseball organization. After a successful season with two ballclubs in 2005, and a rumored trade to Florida Marlins earlier this spring, Diamond is doing great so far over in Frisco, playing for the RoughRiders.
I had the pleasure of meeting this talented guy as he mowed down several of the Modesto Nuts batters during a single-A Nuts vs. Blaze game in Modesto last season. He's a very personable guy, with a competitive nature being compared to Roger Clemens. Good luck, Thomas!
